JOB TITLE: SUBSTITUTE FOOD SERVICE 

 

REPORT TO:  CAFETERIA MANAGER

 

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

  1. Maintain sanitary standards consistent with the requirements of the Missouri Department of Health
  2. Maintain and follow recipes required by the school district and DESE
  3. Assist in calculating the number of meals to be prepared
  4. Assist in maintaining reports required by the school district and DESE
  5. Encourage good eating habits among students
  6. Keep work area clean and sanitized
  7. Attend planning and training seminars as approved and/or recommended by the Food Service Director
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or administration
  9. The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling. Generally, the job requires 10% sitting, 45% walking, and 45% standing.
